Bobby Reaves

MULLINS - Bobby Reaves, 72, departed this life on Monday, December 14, 2020, at MUSC Health - Marion.  A homegoing service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Nazarene Church Cemetery in Mullins with Rev. Sam Brantley officiating.  The care of Mr. Bobby Reaves and his family has been entrusted to the professionals of Leitner Funeral Home in Latta.

Bobby Reaves was born March 31, 1948, to the late John and Frances Owens Reaves. Bobby grew up in Mullins, SC and attended school in Columbia, SC at an early age. As a child, Bobby went to Nazarene Baptist Church in Mullins, SC.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Fannie B. Stevenson and Annie Pearl Johnson; one brother, Johnny Lee Reaves; one niece, Cynthia F. Legette; and two nephews, Theodore McGainey and James McGainey.

Bobby leaves to cherish fond memories to his sister, Evelyn (Sam) Brantley of Mullins, SC; four nephews, Henry L. Reaves of Florida, Samuel (Deborah) Brantley of New Jersey, Charlie (Sharon) Reaves, and Perry (Cheryl) Reaves; one niece, Evelina (Franklin) Bennett of Marion, SC; and a host of great nieces and nephews. 

Through his life Bobby touched many lives with whom he considered his family.  He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
