LATTA - Joe Ann Michelle Wilson Paige was born in Dillon County, SC on December 8, 1968, to Rebecca Abram Wilson and the late Minister Joseph Wilson. Joe Ann transition from her earthly life unto her heavenly life on February 3, 2021, at Doctors Hospital (Augusta Burn Center) in Augusta, GA.
Joe Ann attended Latta Public Schools and graduated from Latta High School in 1988. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church and was baptized and converted at an early age. Joe Ann met and married Cheyenne Paige on July 24, 1993, to this union one daughter was born, Jamaica Michelle Paige.

Joe Ann is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Wilson; sister, Annie Wilson; grandparents, Author and Julia Abram, Edward and Queenie Wilson; father-in-law, Olidan Paige, brother-in-law, Sylvester Huggins; sister-in-law, Barbara Paige; two nephews, Jasper P. Brown and Kenneth Page.
Joe Ann leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, husband, Cheyenne Paige of Aynor, SC; one daughter, Jamaica (Jerome ) Paige of Marion, SC; two grandchildren, Jamyah Mason and Jalek Page both of Marion, SC; mother, Rebecca Wilson of Latta, SC; mother-in-law, Louise Paige of Aynor, SC; five aunts, Julia (Calvin) Davis of Latta, SC, Gloria Jean (Elmore) Bethea of Marion, SC, Azzie Lee Rogers, Mae Carolyn and Princess Wilson all of Latta, SC; four uncles, Rev. Johnnie (Velvet) Abrams of Alexander, VA, John Wilson, Robert Wilson, Jackie (Gwen) Wilson all of Latta, SC; four sister-in-laws, Patricia (Kenneth) Jackson and Sarah (Hezekiah) Brown, both of Marion, SC, Linda Davis and Mary Nixon both of Aynor, SC; one brother-in-law, James (Eula) Huggins of Thomasville, NC; special nieces and nephews, Larry and Ronald Wilson, Taneka Brown, Latoya Paige, Hezekiah Brown, Ashley Davis, Stephanie and Chris Paige; and a host of cousins and friends.
The family of the late Joe Ann Wilson Paige, wishes to thank each of you for your thoughts, prayers and kind words during their hour of bereavement. Thank you for your kindness will never be forgotten.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Fork Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Marion, SC. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1161 Old Ebenezer Road, Latta, SC 29565. Mrs. Joe Ann Wilson and her family has been entrusted to the professionals of Leitner Funeral Home in Latta.
